THE MARLBOROUGH WINE TIME TOUR FROM PICTON
The Marlborough Wine Time Tour is a tour that showcases the best of Marlborough's world-class wine without a long lunch. Starting from any Picton accommodation this tour duration is five hours duration and with around 30 minutes travel each way this will allow around four hours in the Marlborough wine region itself.
The vast majority of Marlborough's wine production is Sauvignon Blanc but there are many other superb wines made here too - exquisite Pinot Noir, intense Chardonnay, vivacious aromatics and some stunning méthode traditionelle. The Marlborough Wine Time Tour tastes a variety of these different styles.
Your knowledgeable driver/guide will give a commentary on the region's wine development and history while the cellar door hosts will describe their own wine styles and tastes for you. Tastings at four of the region's leading wineries and an afternoon cheese platter are all included on this exclusive tour.
