Silver Wing Wine Tours offer a range of private Marlborough wine tours to suit all tastes and budgets. We offer a complimentary pick up service from all Blenheim and Picton accommodation providers.  

Our former NZ Government BMW 7 series limousines are the perfect way for singles, couples or small groups of friends to have an unforgettable day out exploring the world-famous Marlborough wine region in style and comfort. While perfect for couples, our limousines are licenced to carry up to four passengers - plus our driver/guide. They may not be new but they were carrying prime ministers, visiting dignitaries and even royalty until only a few years ago and they are maintained to limousine standard.

Marlborough first caught the world's attention with its exquisite Sauvignon Blanc in the late 1970's but there are many other superb varietals made here too - our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Syrah are developing a world-class reputation along with some smaller plantings of varietals such as Albariño and Grüner Veltliner. All our private Marlborough wine tours will taste a variety of these wines, depending on the cellar doors chosen.

Marlborough cellar doors frequently change their tasting list depending on the season and availability so it's a great way to experience new tastes and styles. We visit a variety of superb Marlborough wineries on our Marlborough Experience Tour and Marlborough Wine Time Tour - all are chosen for their quality and Marlborough authenticity. 

Our Wing It tours allow you to Wing It Your Way and visit wineries, breweries, cafes or restaurants that suit your tastes and preferences. Some cellar doors and restaurants are closed on certain days of the week, for private events, staff shortages or during the annual harvest season (February to April). 

The unique terroir of Marlborough's three main wine producing areas - the gravely riverbed soils of the Wairau Valley, clay soils found throughout Wairau's Southern Valleys and the cooler, drier Awatere Valley - result in flavours found only in Marlborough. The Marlborough Wine Time Tour from Blenheim or The Marlborough Wine Time Tour from Picton are 4-5 hour Marlborough wine tours for people wanting to focus on tastings - an afternoon tour sampling the best wines from four of the finest Marlborough wineries with a cheese platter mid-afternoon. 

The Marlborough Experience Tour from Blenheim or The Marlborough Experience Tour from Picton are 6-7 hour Marlborough wine and food tours showcasing the best of Marlborough's top-class wines and gourmet food. Tastings at five of the regions best wineries are included, with a lunch break offering you a choice of cafes and restaurants (at your own cost). A popular lunch choice is Vines Village which has a cafe, wine and gin tasting and a range of specialty shops. You are welcome to make your own lunch reservations at any winery restaurant or your driver can offer suggestions on the day. 

Wing It from Blenheim or Wing It from Picton are the most popular choices for those who want to make their own selections of Marlborough's various attractions, wineries, breweries or lunch options. Nothing is pre-booked or pre-paid. If you haven't already decided where to go or made any reservations yourself, our knowledgeable driver/guides can assist with winery, brewery, sightseeing and lunch suggestions on the day if required.
