The two all-inclusive tour choices are The Marlborough Wine Time Tour®, a 4-5 hour afternoon tour with cellar door tasting fees, a guided vineyard/winery tour and a winery cheese board all included, or The Marlborough Experience Tour® which is 6-7 hours duration and has cellar door tastings, a gourmet two course winery lunch with wine, a guided vineyard/winery tour and an afternoon winery cheese board all included.
For people who like to select their own wine and food options the way to go - and the most popular choice - is a Wing It® charter. Hire a limousine for an afternoon or full day to explore the huge range of wineries, craft breweries, gourmet restaurants and other attractions that suit your tastes and preferences.
Nothing is pre-booked or pre-paid with a Wing It charter so you make the itinerary and pay for your own wine tasting and food expenses on the day. If you really want to visit a particular winery or restaurant you are welcome to make your own prior reservations, otherwise your knowledgeable local driver/guide will offer itinerary suggestions on the day to suit your tastes.
The benefit of a Wing It charter is the ability to change your itinerary on the day. You may decide you want to sample a few craft beers at a local brewery garden bar, visit a gin distillery, stop for something to eat at a vineyard restaurant or visit some of Marlborough's other attractions - no problem, your driver/guide can make it happen on the day.
While our limousines are a perfect touring car for two passengers, these BMW's are licenced to carry four plus our driver/guide (with the central rear seat arm rest up) so are also a great way for a few friends to share the cost of a private Marlborough wine tour.
Private Marlborough Wine Tours
All our Blenheim Wine Tours and Picton Wine Tours offer customers the same wine and food choices. There is no difference to the tour itineraries other than the starting point. Picton is around 30 minutes extra drive each way from the Marlborough wine region so all of our Picton tours are an hour longer than Blenheim tours to allow for the extra pick up and drop off time.
Blenheim Wine Tours
Silver Wing Limousines offer a range of half and full day Marlborough wine tour options with pick up and drop off from any Blenheim accommodation.
The Marlborough Wine Time Tour from Blenheim is a 4 hour Marlborough wine tour - an afternoon tour sampling the best wines from four of the finest Marlborough wineries, a guided vineyard/winery tour and a cheese board are all included.
The Marlborough Experience Tour from Blenheim is a 6 hour Marlborough wine and food tour showcasing the best of Marlborough's top-class wines and gourmet food. Tastings at four of the regions best wineries, a two course gourmet winery lunch with matched wines, a guided vineyard/winery tour and an afternoon cheese board are all included.
Our Wing It Charters from Blenheim are designed for those who want to make their own choices of Marlborough sightseeing, wineries, breweries and lunch options. Our knowledgeable driver/guides can assist with winery and lunch suggestions on the day if required, but if there's a winery or restaurant you would really like to visit you may wish to make your own prior reservations directly. Hire one of our limousines for either 4 or 6 hours and create your own Marlborough wine tour. No tasting fees or lunches are included in this tour allowing you to Wing It Your Way!
Picton Wine Tours
Silver Wing Limousines also offer the same range of half and full day Marlborough Wine Tour options with complimentary pick up and drop off from any Picton accommodation. These private Marlborough wine tours are essentially the same as the tours from Blenheim, they are just an hour longer to account for the extra 30 minute drive each way from Picton.
