THE MARLBOROUGH EXPERIENCE TOUR FROM BLENHEIM
The Marlborough Experience Tour from Blenheim is a 6 hour wine and food experience from Blenheim showcasing the best of Marlborough's scenery, gourmet food and world-class wine. Starting the day from your Blenheim accommodation you will travel west into the heart of the Marlborough wine region - the Wairau Valley.
You may know that around three-quarters of Marlborough's wine production is our famous Sauvignon Blanc which put Marlborough on the world wine map back in the 1970's however we also taste a range of other varieties on The Marlborough Experience Tour from exquisite Pinot Noir to intense Chardonnay, vivacious aromatics, stunning méthode traditionelle and some delightful Rosé.
Your day will include tastings at four of Marlborough's leading wineries and an afternoon cheese board. A 90 minute lunch break is taken at 1pm (at your own expense). The Vines Village is a popular stop with a cafe, wine and gin tasting and a range of specialty shops. You may also wish to make a reservation at any winery restaurant (recommended for popular restaurants). To align with our other tasting appointments please book restaurants at 1pm and specify you only have 90 minutes.
